This model came about from a customer who wanted me to build a model of a BR at the Southeast Threshers Reunion in Denton, NC. I measured and photographed the tractor, and 5 months later delivered the model to the customer. In the process of delving into this machine design, I just fell in love with the simplicity and straightforward design that marked these old tractors. This model is built with Cherry, following in the tradition established with the Ford models. Ebony is used for some of the black details, Black Walnut for the tires. The model is finished in high-gloss Polyurethane. There are many details buried in this model and it invites a very close look. This tractor is serialized to ensure it is truly a Wood'N Tractor. There may be other wooden models out there, but nobody else comes close to the attention to both scale and detail. This is the finest model available, and is one of a rare select kind of model.
