This model came about from a customer who wanted me to build a model of a BR at the Southeast Threshers Reunion in Denton, NC. I measured and photographed the tractor, and 5 months later delivered the model to the customer. In the process of delving into this machine design, I just fell in love with the simplicity and straightforward design that marked these old tractors. This model is built with Maple, and the parts are colored using a wood dye system that penetrates the wood fibers and ensures good color retention. Several parts, such as the muffler and magneto cap, are formed in Ebony. A final finish of high-gloss Polyurethane ensures nothing will attack the color. There are many details buried in this model and it invites a very close look. This tractor is serialized to ensure it is truly a Wood'N Tractor. There may be other wooden models out there, but nobody else comes close to the attention to both scale and detail. This is the finest model available, deserving to be front and center in every tractor collector's display. Tractor dimensions are approximately 9" long, 5" wide, 4" high.
